Sailing in the Ouachita Mountains!

The Lakes found in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas and Oklahoma provide some great sailing opportunities. This directory will highlight the lakes that provide conditions and resources that are suitable for small sailing crafts and catamarans.
A lake with easy launching facilities with a nearby developed beach area for beaching the light sailing craft is of importance.

It is also our desire to see that area lakes are encouraged to provide appropriate facilities to accommodate light sailing craft. As new and improved facilities are developed, they will be highlighted on the Ouachita Sailing web site.
